Garmin unveiled the GVN 53, a customer-configurable black-box GPS navigation system using GPS hardware and StreetPilot UI, at the 2006 CES. Garmin GVN 53 is designed to be install with automobile audio/video entertainment systems.

The Garmin GVN53 built-in GPS Navigator allows the viehicle owner to travel with confidence knowing the fact that they will not get lost while traveling in Malaysia or Singapore.The GVN53 can interface with almost any LCD screen to display the GPS map. This gives the car owner the choice of having a large map display. The GVN53 also comes with one of the fastest and most poweful GPS processor and satelite receivers available now.

Integration

Convert your existing LCD screen to run GPS Navigation

The GVN53 can be interfaced with any LCD monitor or TFT monitor with an AV or RGB input.

The GVN53 can also be interfaced with most Japanese import cars with DVD players or LCD screens. Conversions may be required for selected Japanese import cars.

Integration is available for:

• BMW - 3 series (E90), 5 series (E60), 6 series (E63/E64), 7 series (E65) and X3 & X5
• Mercedes - E Class (W211), S Class (W220), ML (W164), CLS & SL.
• Audi - A6 (2004-2007 model), A8 (2004-2007 model)
• Jaguar – all models with navigation screens
• Mazda – RX-8
• Porsche – 911 (2001-2003 model), Boxster (2001-2003), Cayenne (2005-2006)
• VW – Touareg

Special signal conversion module is required for the above models with original navigation or DVD screens.
